Even from the childhood, after learning in the musical school, Svetlana dreamed to sing.
She dreamed to enter into the conservatory. As to make this - she accurately did not know.
The musical school did not teach singing, and therefore musical- pedagogical school became
the first step to the realization of cherished dream. Fortunately, on the advice of friends,
Sveta began additionally take the lessons of singing from the excellent teacher (in the past
of the soloist of the Leningrad small theater of opera and ballet) Olga Stikhina. After
preparing program, in 2 years she entered the singing department of St. Petersburg
state conservatory. In the second course she came out in Petrozavodsk musical theater in
the play of "Bayadere" in the main party of Odette. Then she begins to work in the St.
Petersburg Theater of musical Comedy.
After finishing conservatory, Svetlana continues to appear on the concert halls of Saint
Petersburg and other cities. Critical moment in the life of Svetlana became her acquaintance
with Yuri Martianov, at that moment by already well-known singer and unique teacher.
Svetlana it believed in the method, which her husband inoculated to his students,
nd result did not force itself to wait. After only one-and-a-half years she was able
to sing concert of the most complex arias of world repertoire. Among them were two arias
of the "Tsarina of Night", Violetta from "Traviata", Mary from "Daughter of Regiment" and etc.
After hearing her on the concert, Victor Krivonos said, - "I never believed, that she so
will be able to sing, if I itself did not hear ". Svetlana obtained First reward at the
international competition (Saint-Petersburg) and diploma at the competition of Queen Sophia (in Norway).
She is known well as the excellent executor of classical and contemporary music (arias
from operas, romances, songs and operetta). Now, St. Petersburg music lovers have a pleasure
to hear her also in the plays of the St. Petersburg academic theater of opera and ballet name
after M. P. Mussorgsky.
