Igor Rubzov(born on 28/9 1961) 1979-1983 Graduated from the Musical College (Rezekne, Latvia).
Specialized in the opera choir, conductor class. 1983-1987 Graduated from the Musical College
(St. Petersburg). Specialized in the operetta class. 1987-1989 The soloist of the Theatre of
Musical Comedy (St. Petersburg). 1988-1994 Studied at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory (St. Petersburg).
Performed at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory Theatre of Opera and Ballet in such operas as:
"The Barber of Seville" by Rossini "Faust" by Gounod. "Eugene Onegin" by Tchaikovsky. Performed
in "Mass C-dur" by Beethoven (The Or-chestra and choir of Radio (St. Petersburg), conductor-Gorkovenko,
in the Shostakovich Philharmonic Hall. 1989. The concert and record at the Berlin Radio and in the
Schauspielhaus (Germany). 1991. Took part in the festival in Frankfurt-on-Mein with the State
Capella Orchestra and Choir (conductor-Chernushenko). Performed in "Iolanta" by Tchaikovsky
(Vodemon) and in "Aleko" by Rachmaninov (Young Gipsy). 1992. The soloist of the Chamber Musical
Theatre "St. Petersburg Opera". 1998. The International Competition Laureate (the Second Prize)
St. Petersburg. In his repertoire are: "Rigoletto" by Verdi. "La Traviatta" by Verdi.
"Lucia di Lamermoor" by Donizetti. "Eugene Onegin" by Tchaikovsky. "Iolanta" by Tchaikovsky.
"Aleko" by Rachmaninov. Chamber compositions of Italian composers, arias and romances of Russian
and European composers (Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rochmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Rossini,
Donizetti, Verdi), Russian songs. Has been on tour in many European countries (Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain).
